How to Play Basketball Blog – Take a Seat
This tip is so simple that not a lot needs to be said. When you are playing defense you should always be in a defensive stance. By being in an athletic position you are going to be more prepared to make a play on defense. When you need to make a move you will already be in an explosive position so you can react quickly.
When you go to the court you should set a goal to stay in your stance for the whole defensive possession. Oh and you will feel a burn in your legs. Just think of that as an indication that you are getting stronger and in better shape. The burning sensation will go away with a little more practice.
So by sitting down in a defensive position you will not only get in better shape, you will also be able to make more plays. Sounds like you will be getting better and all you have to do is sit. Easy enough right?
